Hi everyone. I found this board while searching "Muhammad Hassan" on Yahoo! search.
I saw the promos of Hassan and his friend Daivari. I didn't think much of it at first when Hassan was talking. But then Daivari was screaming in Arabic, or whatever language he was yelling in. I was like "whoa! that looks chilling." They really looked and sounded middle eastern and pissed off there.
I saw their attack on Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross, if I remember correctly. I didn't see their PPV match because I don't usually order WWE PPV's. Maybe I can search a video file of it on the internet.
Then I noticed a trademark they do, which I noticed a lot on the last Raw when they fought with Benoit. Hassan would have the guy in a camel clutch or something, and Daivari would grab the mic and scream in Arabic again. I thought it was funny and entertaining. And it was fun to watch too, imagining it was someone who I particularly don't like being in that hold and being screamed at.
I also thought it was a little chilling, maybe? It reminded me of those beheading videos from Al Queda or whichever group was doing those. Usually a guy pulls out a big knife and does the horrible act, while the others chant "allah akbar!" or something else. I'm not sure if the WWE meant to make it look like that, but it looked a little disturbing. Just what I thought.
But those resemblances aside, it also looked cool. The Arabic screaming gave it an exotic flavor. I just wonder though if they're gonna try to make the screaming thing a stereotype among Arabs on televised wrestling. Kinda like how the Samoans can never be dropped with a headbutt, the other guy will always go down(unless it's the Rock).
And there's Hassan's head sheet thing, much like Sabu wears. Sabu's not the first to wear one, so it's okay to wear. I remember when WWE had that Tiger Jeet Sigh or whatever the heck his name was. He wore a head dress instead, like those guys in Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom. Whatever happened to that guy anyways? Well I like what Hassan wears instead.
And there's his physique. He's an impressive athlete. I'd like to see him get to the point where he's doing phenominal matches. He's actually gotten me interested in watching wrestling again.
Well those are my stray thoughts. I like the message board.
